Apps that Every Arsenal Fan needs to download this summer

It was a disappointing campaign the 18/19 season truth be told; yes we showed flashes of what can be achieved under the guidance of Emery but despite our run to the Europe League final, where we were duly embarrassed, our away form was shocking which ultimately cost us a place in next season’s Champions League.

There’s set to be plenty of movement over the coming weeks as the Gunners gear up for the new campaign but without competitive football for the next two months, how will we all get our Arsenal fix?

Given the size of the club you expect there to be a plethora of Arsenal-based apps on the market, but which ones are worthy of a spot on your iPhone or Android device? Here we look at the best apps Arsenal fans should consider downloading over the summer.

Official Arsenal app

The official Arsenal app is certain to fulfil all your needs as a Gunners fan and the good news is that it’s free to download. From latest news to fixtures, live score updates etc.. it’s all there and neatly packaged too so you’ll have no problem navigating around the various tabs.

The news featured in the app derives from Arsenal’s in-house media department, so impartiality may not be at the forefront of their agenda but it’s a great little app and has a nice little feature where you can out a wealth of information about every current squad player.

To summarize, it’s a good offering and like some other clubs (we won’t name names) none of the features are hidden behind a paywall- I think we all pay enough for our season tickets.

Arsenal Fan TV

After exploding in popularity on Youtube, Arsenal Fan TV decided to kick it up a notch and produce their very own app.

If you’re not familiar with Arsenal Fan TV It’s an online channel that delivers video content about the team, and you can download this app for Android and Apple devices where you can watch fan reaction videos and keep up to date with all the latest Arsenal news.

It may not be the best-designed app in the world, but it’s attracted a big audience since it was launched and really impressive ratings with tens of thousands of downloads so far.

William Hill App

Having a weekend flutter on the Gunners is synonymous which matchdays for some and if you’re looking for a new betting app that offers decent bonuses, as well as odds and promotions, then look no further than the William Hill App, which is regarded as probably the best android betting app. If you have an iPhone you can also download it via the iOS App store as well.

You can find out head-to-head info about any Arsenal opponent ahead of a match and the cash-out feature if never a bad thing to have, especially given that we gave away a fair few leads last season.

Arsenal Matchday programme

If you can’t grab a hold of a physical matchday programme then this app is the next best thing. In a nutshell, it’s basically an online repository stuffed with info found in Arsenal’s matchday programme. It does come at a cost though, roughly around £1 an issue last time we checked, but that’s actually decent value when you compare it to the price of an official physical matchday programme.

The app also features exclusive interviews as well as manager and captain’s notes before the game.
