  1. I had little time for Dalglish as a player. His trick was to get possession of the ball in or near the Arsenal penalty area and turn his back on the nearest defender. Any attempt to get the ball resulted in a tackle from behind and a certain free kick or penalty.

    Can’t say I ever liked Dalglish either. I remember him blatantly diving for Scotland and then going on TV to assure us all he was a man of the utmost integrity who would never cheat.
    O’Leary on the other hand, I always liked. Funny that.
    Anyway, glad he got a few medals in his final years at the club.
